Alyssa began performing in early elementary school and is grateful to still have the opportunity to continue performing and teaching today. She began singing with the Symphony Pro Musica Youth Chorus. She is a former Dance On Dance Center student and now instructor. She is also a private voice instructor through Main Street Music of Hudson.
She received her training at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City, where she received her degree in Musical Theater. She was very fortunate to receive vocal training from seasoned Broadway veteran and featured soloist of the New York City Opera, Joan Lindstrom. She also trained with Forbidden Broadway director Phillip George, Broadway Conductor/Music Director Darren Cohen, Randolph Pearson, Director Jeffrey Dunn, and Tony Award Nominated Director Marcia Milgrom Dodge. She received dance training in tap, jazz, ballet, and theater dance, from award-winning choreographers, Casey Colgan, Ramon Galindo, Cynthia Murray-Davis, and Harry Woolever. Alyssa has been teaching all levels of Musical Theater at Dance On and is also a choreographer for the Dance On competition team. She absolutely loves watching her students grow and learn not only in the studio but outside as well. She believes in building confidence, creativity and teamwork that allows for each student to grow, learn and develop a love for the arts. |
Steven is a graduate from Dean College with an Associate Degree in dance, and has trained at the Toronto School of Circus Arts. His professional performance career started with Sesame Street Live. He has toured all over the US, Canada, Puerto Rico, and Mexico as Honker the tall understudy, understudying many of Sesame Streets iconic characters. He has also sailed the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Baltic, and the Transatlantic with Disney Cruise Lines as a featured dancer and Dance Captain. You may have also seen him perform on Norwegian Cruise Lines Gem, Dawn, or Pride as a singer/dancer/aerialist and both Aerial and Dance Captain.
Some choreography credits include Newsies, High School Musical, Seussical, Fiddler, and Bye Bye Birdie, with schools and summer programs in the area. He also teaches at Dance On Dance Center in Hudson teaching both recreational and award winning competition team classes. Steven currently is the owner and director of InFlyte Entertainment, an aerial arts company, newly moved into Hudson.
